261MC -Task1 – Proposal

Transgression – is an act that goes against a law, rule or code of conduct; an offence

My intial idea, was about my college friend Xzavier. He’s from leytonstone an urban area in east London, which is an area with high crime stats, and gangs on each corner growing up in estates it was hard to get away from societies stereotype of young black youths. Following the wrong path in his early teen years, loosing friends due to gang crime, falling behind in school he begun too realise that this life was’nt the path for him. He made a change over around his second year of college when he lost two of his close friends in a tragic accident, he even noted that he had spoke to them that same day, the two victims where both stabbed over 24 times by rivals of a drug gang, they where set upon in thier car having been trapped by four cars they had no means of escape, shortley after a group of about 12 men leapt out of thier cars and armed with knives. The attack was all over in just 45 seconds. This tragic accident gave Xzavier an eye openig to the dangers of dealing with drugs or being in a gang or even being around one. Xzavier changed his life around in college, I persoanlly watch him grow into an amazing young man, he left that life behind, progressing in his studies at university. Until, unfortunaley he was met in a terrible accident. He was attacked. He was stabbed accross the face, causing him to be an 7 hour construction surgery, he had over 100 stiches in the faces including permanant damage to his right eye, he was told that he may not be able to see out of his eye. This has scarred him for life, which teaches people the possible consequences being invloved with gang crime.

261MC – Second Idea Proposal

Unfortnatley I was’nt able to go forward with my intial idea as my friend did’nt feel comfortable on camera as he is going through his healing process and further operations at this percised time

As a group we came up with another idea of a friend of mine who was involved in an accident whilst on under the influence of alcohol. Garpreet gained speed on the a clear road and lost control of the vechile as he was just inches away from hitting another car. This accident caused both of his friends who where in the vechile at the time also had serious injuries. The passenger suffered with a broken collar bone with many grazes and the person at the back was unfortunatly not wearing a seatbelt which caused serve head injuries. Garpreet recieved a 2 year driving ban as he was way over the limit and his license also was revoke and a fine for causing injuries.
